Daybed & Tufted Ottomans
Designer: Butter Lutz Interiors
The owners “wanted something that felt bright, colorful, fresh, cheery and ‘now,’ but also textural, relaxed, warm, comfortable and timeless,” designer Amy Lutz says. The seating box for this bright living space features: a Teal velvet sofa, two swivel armchairs, a daybed in persimmon orange chevron linen, and brown leather tufted ottomans.
“The daybed opposite of the sofa provides flexible seating — the lounge chairs are on a swivel base so they can turn to the view outside or to the kitchen behind for conversation” says Lutz.
Upholstered Coffee Table & Footstools
Designer:Melanie Hay Design
The homeowners of this beautiful living room had young children and wanted a tailored room utilizing family friendly materials that can also be used as functional seating or storage. The seating mix here has a sofa, two swivel armchairs, an upholstered ottoman, and two upholstered cube ottomans.
“A custom-made upholstered large, square ottoman was used in place of a traditional coffee table. This allows the family to really relax and put their feet up in the space, while still having a surface to place drinks and snacks upon” Hay says.
With the help of ottomans, swivel chairs, footstools, and more you can completely transform your living space. No more crammed bulky furniture or refusing to host the next house party, because with these stylish design tricks your home is sure to stand out — with ample seating!
